Dr. Amy LaRue, DACM, LAc, Dipl.OM(NCCAOM®) 
 Dr. Amy LaRue is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist with a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine degree from Pacific College of Health and Science. She sees people of all ages for varied health concerns such as acute and chronic pain, digestion, immune and metabolic conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, sleep, mental-emotional health, dermatology and more. Her previous clinical experience includes supportive oncology at RUSH University Medical Center, rehabilitative medicine at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, and pain management at Heartland Health Centers Chicago. Amy enjoys working together with individuals toward their wellness goals and strives to empower each person’s potential to respond to challenges with improved resilience and quality of life. She is nationally certified as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine by the National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, demonstrating competency in national board exams for biomedicine, traditional East Asian medicine theory, acupuncture, and Chinese herbology. 
 In combination with comprehensive acupuncture sessions, Dr. Amy often employs customized herbal medicine strategies as a significant internal component in healing. She continues advanced herbal training through the Institute of Classics in East Asian Medicine®. She also incorporates adjunctive therapies like cupping, guasha, moxibustion, and electroacupuncture, along with dietary and self-care support. A professional dance background underscores her approach to preventive body mechanics and gentle movement recommendations.
